Duration of the program
The duration of the program is minimum one month and a maximum of three months.
Scholarship benefits
The benefits of these scholarships are determined by the agreement and collaboration of it’s affiliates in Latin America.
The following will be provided.
- Economy class round trip airfare to it’s destination in Spain.
- Medical Insurance.
- Boarding and living expenses.
Participating institutions
Public and private Universities, Hospitals, Research and Academic Centers.
Requirements
In order to be eligible, the following requirements must be complied with:

Must be a citizen of any Latin American country and not be resident of Spain.

Must be affiliated with a Latin American academic institution that has a mutual agreement with FUNSATE.

Must comply with the requirements of an excellent curriculum and professional experience as determined by FUNSATE and agree to return to his/her originating destination after completion of the scholarship.

Must have had prior experience from the sponsoring Spanish Institution where the educational program is being held.
Selection process
FUNSATE receives the scholarship applications directly from the institution with which it has a bilateral agreement. Candidates may not solicit these scholarships directly from FUNSATE.
FUNSATE, will communicate directly to the affiliated institutions if the candidate’s application was accepted or denied. If the candidate was accepted there will be a determined time in which he/she will have to redeem the necessary documentation.
Once the documentation is received, it will be processed accordingly and the candidate will receive the appropriate notification in order to be incorporated into the program.
